4 common shower room styles

I believe that dry and wet separation is the first requirement for everyone to decorate the bathroom. After all, no one wants the whole bathroom to be wet after taking a shower, so most friends want a shower room when decorating, and they don’t consider whether the size of their own bathroom is suitable.

The size of the shower room should be at least 80 cm wide, so at least 1㎡ should be reserved for the shower room. It is not recommended to build a shower room in a bathroom below 3㎡ to avoid leaving little space after putting down the toilet and washbasin, which would be counterproductive.

There are four main styles of common shower rooms, as follows:

◆ One-line type

The one-line type is the most common one, with large internal activity space and high comfort. It is more suitable for bathrooms with large areas. Generally, it is located in the inner part of the bathroom, using three walls + one glass. If the space is larger, a bathtub can be placed inside.

◆ Square type

Square shower rooms can generally be completed with the help of two walls, with high space utilization. Generally, square shapes are set against the corners, and toilets, washbasins, etc. can be arranged on the sides as needed.

◆Diamond type

It is the first choice for small bathrooms. The diamond type is based on a square shape with a corner removed, making the space outside the shower area more spacious.

◆Arc type

The arc type occupies a smaller area, has a rounded border, and is relatively safe. Generally, there are two types of sliding rails and folding types. The sliding rails have high requirements for the quality of components, otherwise they are easy to derail, while the folding type can be leaned against the wall when not in use, saving space.

In fact, if you want to separate wet and dry areas, you can also install a shower curtain in addition to the shower room, even in the smallest bathroom.

◆Traditional shower curtain

The cost is low, and you can solve the installation by yourself, so as to achieve dry and wet separation. It is best to choose stainless steel for the hanging rod, which is more durable. A lead weight can be added to the bottom of the shower curtain to prevent the shower curtain from getting wet. Don't forget the water barrier, or use a water cut-off trough instead.

◆Folding shower curtain

Compared with traditional shower curtains, it is higher-grade and convenient to fold when not in use. The material is similar to an umbrella, and it does not get wet when it gets wet, so it is not easy to mold.
